29/100 - 29.12.2009

Trying to improve on day 27's disappointing effort. A tonal study painted using gouache - an opaque type of watercolour. It's my first time using them - tricky!

    Are you going to turn into one of those multi-talented programmer / artist types? I might have to get the union onto you.
    Try using acrylics, I always found gouache a pain in the arse.

    I doubt it, just having fun trying something different :D I'll give acrylics a try, are they messy?
